CHIP Directors to Present at AMIA 2020 Informatics Summit
CHIP Director Abel Kho, MD, and Associate Director Theresa Walunas, PhD, will attend the AMIA 2020 Informatics Summit in Houston, TX, from March 23 to March 26.
On March 25, Abel will present, “Closing Terminology Gaps to Drive Precision Oncology,” an oral presentation to characterize the gaps in standardized terminology coverage for precision oncology. Click here to view the abstract.
On March 26, Theresa will present, “Identification of a Cohort of Cancer Patients Treated with Checkpoint Inhibitors in Regional Integrated Health Record Data System as a Foundation for Immunotoxicity Research.” This oral presentation will explore strategies for identifying a cohort of cancer patients who have undergone immunotherapy in a city-wide, integrated medical records data set.
